"Structural Engineering" Program

About the "Structural Engineering" Program (Paid Tuition)

The goal of the Master's program in "Structural Engineering" is to develop the skills necessary to design safe and efficient structures. The program places special emphasis on modern design and analysis methods for various types of structures using the latest software tools.

The courses build upon strong foundational knowledge in applied mathematics, physics, and structural mechanics. The program offers specialized study in structural composition, structural form-finding, calculation, and dimensioning of diverse load-bearing systems made of various materials – reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and more.

The Master's course also covers the behavior of load-bearing structures under different operational loads and impacts. Particular attention is given to seismic design. It clarifies issues of structural modeling and fosters essential skills for continuous self-improvement and a drive for scientific research.

Professional Skills

Structural engineers acquire the knowledge to create detailed designs for buildings and facilities using modern technologies. They gain skills to perform engineering analyses and evaluate the safety and reliability of various structural elements.

PROFESSIONAL REALIZATION

Graduates of the "Structural Engineering" Master's program can pursue careers as structural designers, consultants, experts, and researchers in building structures, or as senior specialists in specialized government regulatory bodies.

Educational-and-qualification degree

MASTER OF SCIENCE (MSc) (Full-time: paid) - three semesters
