About the "ARCHITECTURE" PROGRAM

Program
The academic year covers two semesters (winter and summer), each with a duration of 15 weeks.
The winter semester traditionally begins in late September and ends in early January. Presentations and evaluations (defenses) of course projects, as well as regular and retake exam sessions, take place in January and February.
The summer semester starts in late February and ends in early June. Presentations and evaluations (defenses) of course projects, the summer exam session, and practical training take place in June and July.
The educational process is implemented through successive mandatory and parallel elective elements with the following duration:
- 10 regular academic semesters;
- Diploma (11th academic) semester – development and defense of a graduation thesis before the State Diploma Commission.

Education in "Architecture" meets global and European standards in the field, including:
- UNESCO-UIA Charter for Architectural Education;
- Directive 85/384/EEC of 15.06.1985 on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates, and other evidence of formal qualifications in architecture;
- Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications.
The training in the "Architecture" program holds prestigious accreditations from renowned international institutions such as:
- The Ministry of Culture and Communication, France;
- The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), UK;
- The EU Advisory Committee on Education and Training in the Field of Architecture.
